Mock Class Website
My extra mile project that I created was a class website. My website introduces myself as the teacher and serves as a means for open communication between students, families and myself as the teacher. The website includes a home page that introduces myself, my plans for the year and expectations. It includes a news page to keep parents and students up to date with events going on in the classroom and school community, a calendar page for easy access to the school and class calendars, a homework page that will provide access to students homework and optional homework for them to continue learning outside of school and a blog page where I would embed a blog feed from an educational blog i would create and have my students corun with me and allowing them to help me keep their families up to date with their learning inschool and showcase their hard work to families and friends. I created this web page in hopes to use it in my future classroom and build on it later in the future.
