Word it Out is a website that generates word clouds based on the words you enter. There are a number of different settings for the cloud allowing for multiple uses of the cloud and application. This tool is useful for the classroom for visually representing thoughts, ideas, and opinions of the class or group as well as just personal ideas and information in a more exciting and colorful way. Teachers can do a poll with students and set the cloud to make the more frequent responses larger. Students and teachers can introduce themselves or friends using the cloud also, as I did below.
