Digital Storytelling Night
Some of the local college students studying education will be hosting a Digital Storytelling Night in the Cafeteria on November 20th @ 6pm. Families and their children are encouraged to come and lear about technology while learning about their culture and the cultures of others in their school community.
Homework Helpers
Honors and AP students from the local high school will be available for homework help after school. Students would go to the after school program and be able to sit with a high school students who will be able to help with any subject of homework.
Student Leadership Club
The school has stared a new club this semester that allows students to get involved in the school community. Students can create new connections with peers and faculty while also making a difference in their school and local community. The club meets during lunch on Thursdays. Students will eat lunch with their club.
Family Volunteers to help in the garden
The second graders are continuing to get involved in the upkeep of the school's garden. We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping with planting, harvesting, weeding, cooking/preparing what we harvest or providing outside knowledge about gardening.
